Tehran is ready to restart atomic negotiations with the United States as long as it is handled with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations was effective, and revealed new appeals had come from mediators to resume discussions with the US government. He said Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Tehran could not yet authorize the UN nuclear inspectorate to visit attacked atomic facilities for security reasons.

Walking a Complex Route

Araghchi is walking a challenging route since Iran does not want appear to be acting from a situation of vulnerability, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had come out stronger in military terms and mentally from the joint assault on its nuclear sites in June.

The foreign minister said: "Tehran was not the one that had abandoned dialogue; it was America and the western countries that had consistently tried to dictate their desires during the discussions. Diplomacy can still be viable and remains the final answer to settle disagreements, but its standards, guidelines and principles must be adhered to."

"In case they address to the citizens of Tehran with the language of dignity and respect, they will obtain a response in the equivalent approach."

Repair and Rebuilding

In what is described by Tehran representatives as the battle of recovery and rebuilding, the foreign minister claimed he was confident Iran's security strengths "are considerably enhanced than before 13 or 14 June of this year. All our capabilities have been restored. We gained many lessons from this engagement; we have come to know our own weaknesses and the weaknesses of the enemy."

He continued: "We successfully passed this conflict. Our nuclear technology, which they aimed to eliminate, stays intact. The installations and equipment, if destroyed, will be restored; what is important is the determination of the nation of Iran and then the social solidarity that they aimed at, but failed to shatter. The citizens of Tehran have developed more resilient, more cohesive, and more backing of the government and the country in the wake of this invasion."
